Outdoor recreation and the benefits
Nowadays, outdoor recreation and human cannot be separated. The demands and need for outdoor recreation become higher among the public, either the youngster or elderly. Outdoor recreation's benefits have been recognized. However, facing more challenges in the current life, people tend to do more physical activity or outdoor recreation to get endless benefits.

For a person's enjoyment, pursuing recreational activities during individual leisure time without being forced by others. Outdoor recreation activities include gardening, walking, cycling, adventurous activities, and many more. These recreation activities are the pursuit of fulfilling their leisure time or, in the recreation term, that provide positive values and benefits to the peoples. Numerous studies have shown how exercise, physical activity, and even mentally recalling outdoor recreation activities can positively affect overall well-being, quality of life, life satisfaction and happiness.


Well-being
In this context, well-being defines as integrates mental health (mind) and physical health (body), resulting in more holistic approaches to disease prevention and health promotion. Outdoor recreation activity is associated with improved psychological well-being, such as reduced stress and depression, and other feelings of emotion. Physiological well-being can improve longevity of older people, reducing mortality rates, maintain lower body fat percentages, and have lower blood pressure and cholesterol levels. Doing outdoor recreation is also believed to relieve the symptoms of attention-deficit disorders, improve resistance to stress and depression, increase self-esteem, stimulate cognitive development and creativity, and reduce myopia, and lower child obesity.

Quality of life
People who are actively involved in outdoor recreation are more satisfied with their appearance. They may also rate their life better. Its all about balance. Finding a way to balance the pressures of work and family with physical and mental well-being is essential. Outdoor recreation is an excellent way for a family to spend time together and enjoy some healthy activities. Overall, people who make outdoor recreation and make close to nature a priority are more likely to feel satisfied with their lives.


Life Satisfaction
Some outdoor recreation may also provide challenging, stimulating, and exciting situations, accompanied by affective states like enjoyment, rush, or flow, whereas others trigger relaxation or pleasant forms of exhaustion. People usually consider their encounters emphatically during outdoor recreation; accordingly, it should add to an individual's outdoor recreation fulfilment, and fulfilment with a particular area could encourage general life fulfilment. For example, if sport improves an individual's feeling of having a place and integration, it could help complete social connections.


Happiness
Outdoor recreation tends to elevate people's mood, and there are usually more physical activities outside than indoor. Outdoor recreation helps people relax and cheer up, so if out replacing inactive pursuits with active ones, it might also mean more smiles. Taking part outside in the fresh air and sunshine is a great way to lift and increase happiness and help them find joy in daily living.
